This Privacy Policy explains how Dreaming Fox LLC ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the TallyMCP software and website (the "Service"). We have designed the Service to keep your accounting data on your own computer.
Your accounting data stays local
TallyMCP runs on your own PC and communicates with Tally Prime locally. Your ledgers, vouchers, financial records, and other Tally data are not transmitted to, collected by, or stored on our servers. We never see your books.
Information we do collect
- Account & billing information. When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, email, and payment details to process your subscription. We receive limited billing information (such as your email, subscription status, and the last four digits of your card) from Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- License information. To enforce one-computer licensing, the Service sends us your license key and a non-identifying hardware fingerprint of the licensed computer, along with basic technical data such as app version. This is used solely to validate your subscription and deliver updates.
- Support communications. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide.
How we use information
We use the information above to: provide and maintain the Service, verify your license, process payments, deliver updates, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate, including Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting and license infrastructure). These providers process information only as needed to perform services for us.
Data retention
We retain account, billing, and license records for as long as your subscription is active and as needed to comply with legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. Cancelling your subscription stops further billing and license validation.
Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
